Welcome to the website of the Vintage Japanese Northern Counties Section, Northern Ireland. The Northern Counties Section is based in Coleraine and members are welcome from all over the province, but we mainly cater for the North West area as there is also a VJMC section in Bangor.
While this website was set up primarily as contact point for Northern Counties Section members to keep in touch and up to date with what's going on, we extend a welcome anyone with an interest in vintage Japanese bikes, whether in Northern Ireland as a whole or anywhere else, to join the forum and use it as a resource to share their interest. Members of other VJMC sections are more than welcome to use it as a contact point also, it's a resource and it may as well be used so please feel free, we need the traffic.
New members please fill in some profile info when you register, we need something to go on to identify genuine applications. If you're a member of another VJMC section or another vintage club please give us that information as well.
Northern Counties Section meetings second Wednesday of the month in Coleraine Rugby Club at 8.00pm. Latest: The 2008 Classic Bike Show at Antrim Forum on Hallowe'en Weekend was a great success and plans are provisionally to keep the same two day format at the same venue on the same weekend for 2009. More details shortly but an official confirmation of this will be in the next few weeks.
Negotiations continue with various parties for the 2000 "Roon Tha Toon", which is still scheduled for be the start of August. More news when there is some.
